My Doc just got a transcranial magnetic stimulation system installed in his office so I'm really interested in this. I mentioned to him that there have been positive results treating tinnitus with TMS. I'm hoping he might let me try it someday.
The study is for people with tinnitus and depressions. People with tinnitus suffer from depression at a rate of 3 times the general population.

Looks very positive. Expensive, but allot more clinics our going in this direction.
So, I think advancements will be allot quicker, than most people think.
And hopefully bring the price down.
