If the noise isn't that loud, your condition may be temporary. The hard part is learning how be calm, month to month, and stop hearing it so much, by not focusing on it.
Trust your parents. Humble pie can taste good.
If they are loving parents, they will do whatever it takes, to help you.
You need to see and ENT specialist, because they could possibly help you get rid of it.
Jitssy, you need to get on with your life, and stop worrying about this.
This is 10% of your problem, but you worry about it 90% of the time, does that make sense. Tell your parents !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish more parents would warn their kids--obviously your parents were scared for you and warned you so you wouldn't suffer. I thin they will feel more sad for you than annoyed and be eager to help you.I know I warm my kids all the time because I worry for them--I know how awful T can be and don't want them to go through it. If they got T, I would do everything I could to try to help them.
You have to seek out a ENT who actually knows something about tinnitus. Theres lists of them on the web who make it more their specialty to know about it. I've been to "regular" ENTs and they arent even worth the 10 dollar co pay I give them much less the insurance money they bill (as harsh as that sounds).
I know it sounds cliche and I'm merely a person on a computer screen to you but I'm here for you. I've been through everything you can go through with tinnitus and somehow I've found a place a peace even though I still have it. Your family cares about you. Just be a little patient with them in terms of conceiving what T is.
