i've had severe t (like suera's)for 5 years & had really only came to some form of acceptance in the last few months
spent a few days over the holidays with my extremely noisey family. While watching a movie with surround sound an unexpected leap in the volume has absolutely shattered my ears. I'm so angry that the volume goes up & down(on movies), feel sick & just want to cry.
The weird thing is if I blow through my mouth I get a whistling sound on top of the other pitches in there. I so hate this t & the impact it has on our lives!

I am sorry, I know how frustrating it can be, and some people do not have a clue.

Yes, the impact is beyond comprehension for some of us.
Every morning I wake up I ask myself, why am I still alive for and the only answer I can find is because we don't just have an off button-you know like Lt.Commander Data in Star Trek has.
Don't take any improvement for granted and hopefully it'll get better again.
My thoughts are with you.
