Honestly I have been trying to follow www.flyladynet .
That was the best thing to help me start getting ahold of my house and start to time manage. Congrats on starting to get things in order!!
But what does help me is the thought that even though I love my things, I'd desire the empty space even more. And even though I am attached to them, I can say goodbye and cherish a memory.
That may not be the case with you but it may be something you want to examine. If we do not fix the underlying issue we just switch addictions.
not bother to dust and hoover later when it is their turn.
But surely hoarding stuff not only makes the place look untidy but maybe it also makes it harder to find the things you wan t and
takes up time? I would tidy a little bit each day till it is all done.
I think you will feel better when you have.
I know two ladies who are hoarders, they are both in their 60s, both live a lonely life with two cats, and both not very sociable.
Both of them stay at home in their dirty and untidy places. Not much of a life is it? I spoke to one recently and she went on and on about how doing her housework takes up all of her time. Yet the place is a pig sty and nobody sensible would eat there or sit down there! It is obvious she never does any housework at all except for maybe washing up a cup when she needs one. But she is the one who suffers for it. If you live totally alone you can do what you want, but is it the best thing for you?
Keep positive and keep going.
