I don't know if I've gotten better at time management or if I just have less things going on in my life this semester, but I've been a lot better at completing and turning my assignments in on time. One thing I've really focused on this semester is not allowing myself to push off assignments until the last day. In past semesters I let procrastination take control and would cram in 4-5 page papers on the last day that they were due. Sometimes I waited until the last day and realized that the assignment couldn't be completed in one day and had to scramble to try and complete it. This was a terrible habit that thankfully I broke. I think one thing that really helped me was having a boyfriend to remind me that school was most important. I would want to go out and do something or just lay up and watch movies and he would tell me that I had to finish my assignments first before we could do anything. Although this was annoying at first, I'm thankful for him caring about my schooling and it has really helped me learn to push myself and hold myself accountable as well.

This morning I left my little apartment to go to my job, which is over the mountain to a little school. I am a sub teacher so I dont get paid on holidays so I have to budget. I did all my math and bought food, paid bills, got just enough gas in my car to sail thru the week, spending nothing until friday when I finaly get paid. So I am then driving to work with 20 dollars to my name and a lunch...
