TIA SUPPORT Community Group
This is primarily a sub-group for stroke victims,,a TIA is a mini stroke and has its own conditions and own problems and it's own issues..

At the support group I attend,,,I mention that I had a TIA ,,and the response is What is that !!!...so the general public has a poor understanding of what a mini-stroke is and it's affects....seems that people in the medical professions has something of a passing understanding of what the issues of a TIA constitute...and well..it is what it is ...for me I get headaches not all that often but they do come..not crushing but it is there,,,and my stomach seems to be affected as well...not sure if or how this may be connected..
I continue on my hypertension medication with an occasional dose of generic acetaminophen and ginger root suppliment also omparosole aslo for stomach issues...I do get nausea with the headaches but it passes..
At this early stage of this group please post some of YOUR symptoms and what you are going through...thanks

Symptoms during the attacks:
- First attack: problem remembering things I had just done
- Second attack: unable to put names of people with their faces
Symptoms Now:
- Chronic sleepiness
- Lose things all the time (e.g. get pair of socks out of drawer, sit down on bed with only one sock and
no idea where the other one is)
- Wake up in the morning and have no idea what day it is
- Difficulty focusing on complex problems
- Difficulty prioritizing tasks
- Difficulty making decisions
