it is too much to think about and remember.
If they were super worried about a fast growing invasive cancer, they would probably have you in this week...so maybe it is a good sign.
another thing? get a copy of your bloodwork, not just for your diabetes but for your tsh levels...that way, if they do take out all of your thyroid, you know what is your old normal- your new normal with probably be made lower....below 0.1.
always get copies of all test results, always take notes. and bring any questions with you written down so you remember to ask them. Everyone is in a hurry, but you have a right to know anything you need to make you feel comfortable.
It seems such an oxymoron that slitting your throat is good for your health, but you will be relieved to get all this over with and get on with your life.
Maybe you could call the doctor's office and ask that he give you a call to answer a couple of questions....or email him (my endo has an email he checks)
the good news is that you aren't left hanging about this, and it will be OVER.
