Everything else that I use I plan to take out of the room myself. Most of it will get tossed.
My hubby is thinking that if I use an external keyboard and mouse on my laptop, it should be ok - and we can just toss the keyboard and mouse.
So far, not being prepared for my low iodine diet has sucked. Tomorrow I will hit the grocery store for the few odds and ends I need to make it work. Today I am just living on rabbit food. Yesterday I was BAD... I had McD's for breakfast and just didn't eat after that. Sigh. Bad me. Today I have been mostly eating rabbit food.
I am feeling better, emotionally, I can get through anything for two weeks - well three, because I have to stay on the diet after the pill I think for a few days.
I didn't have to stay on the diet after my treatment. After the last body scan, I was able to eat regular food again.
Are you on Cytomel now? That is what I had to take before the RAI treatment. I am now back on regular synthroid.
I can only guess what they are going to do after the first scan. No one has talked to me about it. 95% of the information I have I have gotten on my own research, here and and ThyCa.com.
Even if I have to spend the week on RAI on this diet, I can live through three weeks of anything.
