Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Support Group
Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) consists of a group of distinct disorders that affect the nerves in the brachial plexus (nerves that pass into the arms from the neck) and various nerves and blood vessels between the base of the neck and armpit.
Physcial therapy is very touchy for TOS as well. Either its just the right thing, or something to fierce that flairs you up rather then settles it down! My TOS is from my thoracic canal being pinched at the point where my left collar bone and first rib ends meet in my shoulder! I have pain and tenderness in my collar bone, neck, traps, down my arm, elbow, wrists and fingers, tingling, severe spams in my shoulderblade, left side of my neck etc....
I don't mean to be a debbie downer but just wanted to share that PT isn't very helpful and I haven't tried the botox but am very curious! In my case, surgery has a very low success rate! And tends to bring on more complications in the end anyways!

Just please do more research before jumping into surgery, it often is not a cure all and could likely cause more problems in the end by causing adhesions!
Good luck!
