I peeked in the door
and the chairs are empty,
the kettle is cold
and the pot offers no tea..
I hear echoes of days gone by
cries of pain and dispair
calls to hang on
and expressins of future hope
and sister love.

The goastss of loved one are there
wandering in the dark recessesof the room
not understanding
what made this place so important to us who dropped by.

I dust off a chair and sit for a while eyes closed remembering those days
A Psalm of Gratitude comes to my lips
A prayer of remembrance for those who had sought rest here
May they all be happy and content in thier lives
may thier loved ones continue thier life journey.
Time marches on ,
our lives have changed,
we have graduated now into life.
