This is a private group by invitation only. It is a group for those who have a loved one with a brain injury. This group was not founded by me but I will serve as the founder temporarily as one of the first members.
I am changing jobs as of May 13th. I am getting out of dentistry completely ! My new job is at one of the local hospitals working as a Admin Asst in the diabetes clinic. I am stoked ! I have wanted a change for the last 5 years or so, but with son and TBI it just was not going to happen. I guess this means that things have calmed down and it really is my time. Of course things will never be as they were before TBI but it is calmer than used to be. Just have to hope and pray that son stays on the right path....no dabbling in drugs and getting all bi-polar on me. I am saddened to leave in some ways because I adore my co-worker. I will miss the heck out of her since we have worked for over 20 years together. But I need health benefits and a challenge to keep by brain from turning to mush. I could literally do my job in my sleep........I have been at this office for 28 years. I need to learn new stuff and get excited about work again. So thats my news !

Praying it allgoes well.
I expect I will have to be back helping after I get off work for a while since the new girl knows nothing and I dont know when or if my co-worker will return. It will be a brutal next couple of weeks.
