This group is for parents with difficult children. Not due to any particular reason other that a strong personality, or a difficult period in life. Age of the child doesn't matter. It's a group for when you are having those days where you don't think you can do it anymore. When you think you are failing. When you need to talk to someone, anyone, about what your day...
I started this group because I am at a loss with my daughter. There are parenting groups for kids with every condition under the sun....except for what I needed. I have a daughter with a strong personality, strong mood swings, and strong emotions. I have a daughter that, as she grows, is getting more and more difficult to handle for me.
I know there are parents that have it worse. And I know sometimes I need to let things go with her that I seem unable too. I know there will be parents in it together, single parents, parents with an unsupportive spouse(that would be my category) and all of that fits here. I needed a group, an active group, that could help me cope with what I am going through.
So until this group gets some members, who start posting, I'll try posting what's going on in my difficult daughters life, and my own, every day or two.

I love her very much and I’m sure she loves me too but sometimes we are just like cats using our paws to hurt each other.
After a time out following a big hug I can get her to calm down but it becomes more and more a struggle and I’m in a need of support and a hug myself.
