This morning I decided to go through some of my computer files and do so cleaning out and when I did this portion of an article from the Mennonite Church must have struck me at one time because I saved it. I saved it perhaps because it seemed to encapsulate the whole spectrum of the problem of estrangement in the family. ~~~~
Article....."Seldom, if ever, is this the fault of one person alone. It takes at least two persons to have a problem to begin with, and generally it requires a whole community’s complicity, whether passive or active, to produce a real climate of estrangement. People join in withholding understanding, or neglect trying to reach new understanding, when differences arise. Then a finger of blame is pointed and suspicion rises and conversations between fearful parties become superficial and then cease all together. If nature abhors a vacuum, a community finds it even more abhorrent; and the silence is quickly filled with rumors, with negative valuations of each other, with criticisms and closed judgments."

Wow, this article you posted really says a lot, feels right like where my life is with my ED ES........... I hate the passive part, that is my ED, ES's tools, and I am as open as a book. And when it says " A community find a vacuum even more abhorrent', wow, is that ever true. I never knew the door was closing , never even heard it creak, but passively, very very passively it was just SHUT. OUCH

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
