Ok so i showed this site to three people and now we are all trying to figure out how this works, does anyone know it is driving me crazy

Of course it is driving you crazy!!! It IS crazy.....but back up to the last few posts....there is an answer. And it works....especially for all the brain-e-aks, like LJ and the Bobbi.

Nope - I do not know how it works. I have tried to fool it - but I can't. Even if I screw up - and forget what my number was - it remembers!!!!! No not really but I can't fool it.....I don't know how it works.

None of us remember...:):) I cannot even remember that it was manny, not bobbi that was playing the game.

Have been soooo distracted of late.....I think the W&T group is going to take over the number of posts of our OT.

I had to stop watching and come back to a safe place.

I wonder if we should think about making this a W&T-free group?

NO guess that would not be fair as then you would not be able to vent about the place in safety.

I have seen this game before and I have tricked it - but can't remember how I did it.
Hopefully it will come back to me. I was going to get stuck into the other night (ours here) while everyone was busy with the holiday there but our internet went out and when I did get it back I had to catch up with things, pretty much done that and of course last night (mine) DS was on and off with the upgrades. Maybe tonight?
If I can remember I will let you know how and see if it works for others. IF!!!!!!!

Guys.....................I maybe, sorta kinda, maybe figured out (at least a piece of it)..maybe...sorta kinda..............

People tend to pick numbers that can be divided by 9................or multiples of 9.......if you look at all of the 9 possibilities on the second sheet......you will see that the answers are all the same.........................so.go check it out with that in mind.

Meanwhile.....I have to work all day today...leaving now........won't be back until 6pm or so..............have fun.

Hmm, maybe i am going to check it out. we played it over and over and it only missed out answer once out of all those times.

Someone else came up with this "9" theory too debbear but I can't remember who or when......

debbear - Ok - you are right on the money but I'm still confused as to how random numbers all end up with a derivative of 9 (is that the right word - derivative?) That part I don't understand but if you go to the game and look at what is under number 9 - it comes up every time in the answer. hmmmm

Well done Bear, I think you nailed it - as it is hard - though not impossible to come up with numbers that are not nine or multiples of nine when you subtract the numbers as they say.
Very clever......................... But now we all know the answer.
