This is a group where we are trying to raise awareness of this chronic disease. This disease effects nearly 20% of the population...and is a very serious illness that should not be taken lightly.
my last neuro appt. he told me that i don't have hydro, but ive got non-communicating hydro, so i don't see how. i have aqeductal stenosis and i don't know you can get rid of hydro with aqeductal stenosis. Its not possible, Unless, ive stoped producing CSF fluid, which i don't see possible.
I completely agree with you on this. Maybee you should see a different neurologist. I had to get a second opinion. We don't stop producing CSF and if you have non-communicating hydro that means there was/is some sort of blockage. Once you have hydro, you always will have it as far as I understand. I'm interested to see what others' views are on this topic.
