Mom is in no shape to find that infor for the social security office to correct the mistatke they made in Mom's income. Just one more thing I need to do. Mom was in bed asleep and I didn't wake her. It's obvious the end is really near. What I am upset about is if Mom had been willing to...

89FNo energy, just going to do whatever. Sandra, It's hard to move at a certain time in life. You've been in your home forever, at least you'll be able to travel to the beach and enjoy. Oh, we did hear Boris Johnson's tenure ended due to a series of ethics scandals, accusations of dishonesty and a final collapse of government support that forced his recognation. What he didn't do like the...

When I read about some of the activities other people are taking part in, I've been known to feel sorry for myself because I get totally used up just trying to work a little. Where's the fun? Not much of that going on here.
In reality, I'm happy when I know someone is having a nice day or their pain is low. I truly care for this wonderful group. I need all the friends I can get and I hope that I can be a good one in return.
To keep going day after day...it takes a flock!
Hugs and clucks...
I'm so unhappy. Taking care of an ungrateful dad while in my own hell. I'm really scared I'm going to have a stroke he's driving me insane daily.
I hurt from head to toe. I have no life, no reason to get out of bed except to let Bella out to potty. I honestly don't know how much more I can life with.
Misery loves company, anybody want to come over?
Sometimes i sit here for a few mins wondering what to say because its the same old same old. Thats life i guess. But you can do little things to make you feel better and a bit more in control.
What has helped me lately is thinking about what i'm unhappy about, writing a list if need be, then "what can i change on that list?" "Is there another way of looking at it?"
You might find this useful:-
Goal setting
1. Decide what you want to achieve - be specific!
2. Make sure the goal is realistic and achievable. Set a time frame that you want to achieve this by - again, realistic and achievable. Do you have the necessary resources?
3. Clarify your goal - what is it you really want to achieve? What for? Is this something you need, or just want? How important is it? What difference will it make to you?
4. Write down you goal - add as much detail as you can about what you want to achieve. Write down the steps you need to achieve on the way to the ultimate goal. What do you need to do? When? How? What help do you need? How will you know when you've got there? What will you be doing differently? What will other people notice about you?
5. Do it! Start with the first step - don't try to leap ahead, just take things steadily and achieve one step at a time.
6. Review your goals every day, asking yourself what you've done to work towards your goal? What do you need or what are you able to do today? Stick with it, keep at it. You will much more likely to achieve your goal if you are determined and persistent.
7. Congratulate and reward yourself when you achieve the steps on the way, and when you achieve your goal.
One of my goals was have a go at a new recipe every Monday, Fridays i do the weekly shop, so Thursday i get the recipe book out or i look online so that i can make a list of ingredients i need to get for Monday.
Another goal was help out for a few hours in a charity shop. Ive been so isolated and friendless for years it was something i had to change and i'm trying to change.
***Small changes to our daily routine can make a difference!***
It's the same for me... Same o same o
But it's the high lite of my day to come here and read everyone's replies no matter how simple it may do. And I worry when someone doesn't check in too.
So if you don't have anything to say you can always encouage someone else or just say good morning:)
Or give a hug to all
