Good morning, hens...
It's about to turn back to Summer for a few days in my neck of the woods. It's only 43 at 8:00 so it still has to be proven.
I thought I knew just what I'd be doing this morning...2 colors and a few other haircut clients...then with less than 24 hours notice, I was handed an information sheet stating that my street was the next to be torn up (on my side of the street) and that I'd have no water from 8:00-1:00. The town is replacing a lot of old water lines this Summer and for the past 2 months, they've been working just around the corner causing loads of noise, shaking that felt like an earthquake and dust storms that I can't even describe.
Now...they want to make it even worse by digging up my lawn! I quickly called my clients and got them rescheduled...tomorrow morning is now going to be hell on my body. My last client yesterday said that someone had stopped into his law office and said the plan had been changed ad the water would be off from 1:00-5:00 instead! Nobody told me anything about the change so I've left my schedule the way I had changed it.
It's now 8:15 and there's no sign of work on my street and the water still runs....grrrrrrr. I don't know if I dare call one of my clients back to see if they still want to come this morning or not! It would lighten my load for tomorrow, but i the water was sudenly shut off and she had a head full of color...well, you can imagine my problem.
I just realized I wrote a novel...oops. Your turn and I promise to read every word, no matter how long it is!

i need to cook today and try to vacuum, at least one room. i got quarters for laundry yesterday, so that's possible - maybe. my spirit is a little low right now - yesterday, more hostile emails from beth....hoping to come around!
Serenity, sorry you are getting hostile emails. There is toooooo much drama in the world.
My Wednesday ??? I am going to try and get an hour of sleep in before I start work.I had to give up a couple of new clients because I can not walk right now. I have an appointment with a neuro at the end of the month. Hopefully this doctor can do something to improve my ability to walk.

My other half is off for a few days, so we went into town together this morning and we walked to get the exercise. He bought himself some new clothes and we had coffee and cake in BHS (its a shop with a restaurant) and undid all that healthy walking!
Ive not slept these past few nights, last night i had a brief encounter of palpitations, but managed to calm myself quickly. The lack of sleep caught up with me, ive just woken up from a nap! So no doubt i wont sleep tonight either!
I slept in at my friends and it was lovely. Today is my dreaded fiftieth BD and I awoke to a special coffee and a muffin and a card. I cried because my world is men and that stuff just doesn't happen in my world. Today my friend has a big 2 hour doctor appointment so I'm going to hang around and make soup and clean out a closet for her.

Cherry what a mess to deal with. I hope you are able to get your clients in tomorrow. Talking to the water department would be nice. Seems they should at least give the residents a reasonable timeframe in which to expect no running water. I have experienced no water in the middle of a shampoo and shower due to having a well. On went robe and out to well house I went with wrench to tap the pump cause something would get stuck. New meaning to "madder than a wet hen".
RJ I have read on the other board about your new DX and I do hope the doctor can get you on the right med to help with the muscles. You have always taken care of everyone else so shame on husband for kicking around your walker. Hang on and hang tight my friend.

Cherry, how frustrating and un reasonable of them. I too would freak is my hair was getting a color and then no water. What would it do?
Happy Birthday to your son Hippy. When did our kids get in their 30's?
I'm hanging today and waiting for my computer guy. My computer crashed monday morning so now i am using it on "safe mode". Not all of my programs work, but DS and internet does.
Yesterday was a very surprising good day. I almost felt normal and boy did I cherish that feeling.

I'm just not feeling good. This depression is just wearing me out this time. I have absolutely no energy!
