then climb a hill instead

its ok to stay in bed
if the day ahead weighs heavy
and your plans feel like a curse
theres no shame in rearranging
dont make yourself feel worse
if a shower feels like needles
and a bath feels like you’ll drown
If you haven’t washed your hair in days
dont throw away your crown
a day is not a lifetime
a rest is not defeat
dont think of it as failure
Just a quiet kind retreat
its ok to take a moment
from and anxious fractured mind
the world will not stop turning
while you get realigned
the mountain will still be there
when you want to try again
you can climb it in your own time
just love yourself til then.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

If the mountain feels to big I am not even going to bother with a hill. I know I should but I am just not in the mood for it.
I don't do anything that I don't feel like doing anymore. I get a lot of flack but I really don't care. I have gone for a week without washing my hair. They do have a dry shampoo. It takes forever to dry this head of hair. lol

There are days I try for the hill. Haven't reached the top yet.

I was so hoping that we could keep Dixie's place and the Hen house going.
Things are so different these days. With no alert's you have to go back and check in with everyone which does take some time.
But I will say that you my friends are worth it......it just takes some time. :) xoxo
