Good morning Dixie and All,

It is the truth about Spring Cleaning outside. Dear husband has been on that for sometime. We have close to 3 acres and lots of old trees. I was upset when we were annexed from county to city but one benefit is the city has a spring cleanup where they come around and pick up tree limbs. We have big pile down at the end of our drive for them to pick up. Due to the acreage we are allowed to burn as well and hubby has been doing that but it helps to have all we can carried away. Good for your son working outside for you..

I am ready for Spring Clean and that is my mind is. I will do it a little at a time with husbands help. This year he did say we could get some outside help if I wanted. I just don't know if I want someone else in my home. We discussed it last last week and what would they do. Windows immediately came to mind. How about you. Would you choose Windows.

Sounds like your Hasbrown casserole is a tradition. I love that dish.

dixe ..........if you are us to seeing your grandchild more often 9 days is a long time ....you have to do at least one thing that is fun you can't work all weakend cleaning your house. .....do somthing nice ..for your self ...like a bubble bath ...just an example..............................................................................................................................I would of liked to start spring cleaning but we both have very bad flues ....so ..I am doing laundry ..tonight ...maby wash my ketchen flour ...see how I feel .....to much snow for outside cleaning. and we are having a good snow storm ..right now ................................we need to trim our ceader trees .................I hope you get your four weaker fixed .....I am sure your grandaughter will like it .............we use to have bush behing our house and now we have a. nabour right behind us ...........we have lots of trees in the back of out yard ......so we see as little as posible of them ..........all the nabours tryed to make them feel welcomed to the never hood ..but ..they ..just said we dident move here to make friends ......they could of stayed in the city ....they call on everyone for everything ..even those on the lake side ..they must have ....binoculars ..to see them .......................................................................everyone have a great Easter holiday ....take care ...God bless

What a day ive had ! It all started with husbands alarm clock going off an hour earlier. So he got up an hour earlier than he normally does by mistake because of his digital clock, which meant i had to wake 2 hours earlier than i needed to be. When you have to go to work that is really annoying!
The day just got worse and worse.

Dix, yes ive started spring cleaning, i did manage to get the front garden grass the other day, i was hoping to get the back garden done but it depends on the easter weekend weather. We have an Oak tree, that seems to be loosing small branches and of course it sheds loads of leaves!
I can imagine after spending so much time with your grand daughter, you must miss her when she's not there, but at the same time enjoy the rest lol.

hippy, only you know what you need help with most, if you can manage to hoover up, mop floors, change beds, ironing etc, then yes windows. When i cleaned for a job, the lady i did it for, i did her windows when she went on holiday as there was nothing else to do. I once cleaned out her cupboards in the kitchen and put all the out of date stuff to one side and she just put it all back in the cupboard again!

Everything settled down! Dixie I love Sunrise Service. Our church stopped having it. I think maybe F and I will have our own around our fire pit. I can download some songs and grab our Bible. Shoot I can wear my pjs if I want. Then F can go to our Church service.

Love four wheeling and know for sure your granddaughter will also. Great idea on the barter system. When you say truck driver I understand how long it might take. Sounds like you are going to have a vacation!!!!!

Musk I hope you get to,feeling better real soon. With so much snow I think it would be difficult to spring clean.
Your back neighbor isn't very social. Is he with the big dog that runs wild. We allow trees to grow as a barrier in the back and front of our property. We already have a small woods to the side. I like the privacy.

Empathy I wouldn't have been a happy camper to wake up two hours early on a work day.
I would never be one to put back in the cabinet. You see this is what I need. Minimizing.
Others especially someone like yourself see what you need and what you don't. I just don't know how to
go about finding someone. Last year a friend visited and gave me a fresh eye for just a few shelves.
A five years ago I was on top of this. Dusting and dishes and clean bathrooms under control. It is just clutterl.
I need an Empathy.

Hippy, I have a housekeeper. She has been here helping me out for a few months. It is wonderful. I feel so lucky. To begin with we had a good sit down and talk. I told her the things that I can not do and want done. Because I am housebound I am always here when she is. She is here five days a week, a few hours each day. So everything just looks good all the time now.
One place I would look is at your local senior center. Or your church. Those are good places to go to.
I hope you find who you need to have. .
