I hope you get some much needed relief. I am anxious to hear how it goes. Hopefully you can say good riddance to the pain! Wouldn't that be great?

Well got a bit of bad news today. The hospital called to confirm the appointment for surgery and they had a different time than my docs office did. So my surgery is not actually until 1130 am now. I will be the third one taken back, is what the hospital said. Nothing to eat or drink after midnight. That's gonna be so hard since I wake up around 3 and immediately go for the coffee!!

Thank you guys for the send off. But I wanted to let you know the change of plans. Still having the surgery, just a bit later in the am, that's all!

jenna, i don't want to tell you anything against MD orders, but they told me nothing 6 hours before. i think that gives your body time, but i don't even play a dr on tv.
still wishing you the best and will be sending you good energy at 11:30.

Thanks ladies, I really appreciate it. I am in so much pain right now I wish they would admit me to the hospital and just give me pain control until the time of the surgery. I wonder if the ER would admit me? I am trying so hard to keep my eye on the goal but it seems so far away right now. Trying to remind myself to think positive right now.

The best of wishes Jenna! I always took whatever liquid I wanted before surgery and swished it around in my mouth, nothing wrong with that.
