What do you do, when you get tired of fighting this pain?
When depression takes hold and you feel like you can't go on?
What do you do, to snap out of this hold this awful monster has on you?

Some listen to music, some tell jokes, some call up a friend.

What do you do?

I recently took off to Michigan! LOL

I try to distract myself all the time. I watch tv, listen to music, talk to friends.... I try to focus also on being positive, though it sure can take alot work.

I focus on something else that pisses me off, like my work or my family. Something that I can fix. I don't always fix it but if I focus on that, then I feel I have a purpose, or that I have something structural to work on. Work is easier because I can break it down into tasks. Family is harder because it is closer to the heart and takes longer. I can also blame family for the depression that I feel.

Its warped but I think that is how I get through sometimes.

I run to the beach if I have the money. I need to meet someone that lives close to or on the beach. I'd pay to sleep on a couch just so I can put my feet in the sand and throw flowers in the Gulf for my mom. I'm headed into a dark place if I don't get out of this house for a few days.
