Kids are back in school. So sad isn't it. Bit I get a few hours I can relax my nerves and not have to worry about anyone fighting.
I pulled out those magazines yesterday and I'm going through them. So far I've only decided to keep one.
I've been after dh to fix my bedroom door so it will latch for month, finally asked my oldest if he would do it. He said he would bring tools home to do it today. I hope he doesn't forget. I hate to keep asking. I am determined to get it fixed...my next step is to hire someone to fix it but I am tired of not having any privacy!!
Getting super depressed.....will be glad when the holidays are over.

I had thought my only appointment today was to see my shrink, but last night a client asked if I could color/cut her hair today. So I've been tidying up since I won't have time after my appointment. This weather is making my body hurt and I'm going through my firewood too quickly! The Weatherization guys haven't come back to do anything and the cold air is blowing into my house as if the doors and windows were open!
Enough bitching from me...I didn't mean to get off on a tangent!

I hope that you get that door fixed soon. We all need that special place in our homes, especially our bedroom where we do have our privacy!
I am sorry that the holiday season is so stressful and it being over is something that so many look forward to.
I am one of those in the minority that love the Christmas season, it is my favorite holiday!!
It sure sucks though how it has became so commercialized.
It seems that the true meaning of this time of the year is being lost!
As for me well I got the best of both worlds yesterday… I did spend a few hours with my father in law and put up his little table top tree which he loved.
Then the weather let up here and my girlfriend did come up for a visit.
As usual I am sure paying for it today. Took my pain meds this morning and not a whole lot of relief yet!
Today will be a day in my "nest" as many call my recliner.
I do want to get going on the Christmas cards… so that is my plan today.
I wish for all of you hens a day of comfort and pain that is tolerable.. many of us have so many other things in our life to deal with that we sure would like to get a break somewhere!!

well, the potato pancakes are waiting. i just addressed christmas cards in calligraphy and chatted with a friend who just adopted a cat. it's so funny bc she's never really had one (except for a roommate's). she's like a new mother.
i cancelled my colonoscopy screening. i'm not sitting in the rain waiting on buses and risk getting worse.

seren, dont blame you for cancelling your appt, but make sure you make another, health is important : )
Me... ive got an appt with GP at 4 which is just under an hours time. Ive had earache as you know and the gp gave me nose drops.. well, i dont know if its the nose drops but i look like Dracula with blood shot swollen eyes. My head is hurting and i just feel so washed out. At least i'm seeing a different gp from last week, a second opinion would be good as i'm sure ive got an ear infection.
