Does anyone have a current favorite TV show that they would like to talk about?
When I come home after work, I like to watch what I've taped while I do a bit of painting. I don't watch much but I like to talk about the few I do watch.
I've just discovered THE VOICE and I just love it. I think her name is Kaitlan, who sings like Florence of Florence and the Machine and I just love her.
I also like Survivor, but so far that is boring.
Face Off is new to me and very interesting.
This is my first year watching The Amazing Race because it won awards and I find I really like how they delve into the history of the locations.
Anyone else want to talk about some show they watched and is intriguing? If there is enough common interest in a particular one (or two), then maybe we can start a thread.
I noticed a few football fans. what about team favorites? I like both CFL and NFL. I am a BC Lions Fan and for NFL I like Greenbay, and Seattle (and hell, anyone who is playing at the time)

88FIn 1969 we decided to get married without a big wedding. Most of our friends and family liked large over the top for the time kind of weddings and I did not. First, I didn't see why spending so much money for one day when we have the rest of our lives to live. I have never regretted not having a big formal wedding. Another issue is not liking all the attention. Also, we have gone to big...

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

I enjoy "The Voice" as well. I also like "Intervention" and "Hoarders" on A&E on Monday nights.
I like the CSI programs.
We bought the box set of Frasier and we are going through those currently.
We have what we call soaps here, don't know if you do? But there's 1 called EastEnders, watch that regularly, that's on 4x a week.
I used to watch The X factor, but after a couple of years i began to think it was fixed!
The talent programs.. Britons got talent and Americas' got talent, worth watching for the many fools at the start, then i get bored when they've selected the good ones.
I watch a few property programs like House in the sun or A house in the country, i go off in a dream world....
Jeremy kyle, he went over to you but the American ones are way different from our ones.

I used to like Roseanne, all those years back!
old movies are high on my list, esp 40's film noir. oh and CSI, too.
I am also a huge fan of Sons of Anarchy! I live for that show! I also enjoy the CSI's; HOUSE; Criminal Minds. I am waiting for a new series to start as well.
I love some of the cookings shows Barefoot Contessa and Giada are good. I love Man vs. Food and Diners, Driv-Ins and Dives with Guy Feiri.
Discovery channel has the deep ocean shows and some of the others I like too. I refuse to watch anything though with killing, eating and grossness. Too Much! I have to turn the channel every time one of those damned abused animals commercials come on! I can't stand it.
The other stuff are old movies...black and whites with Betty Davis, Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Fred Astair, Gene Kelly etc. I love those movies from the 30's, 40's and 50's.
I watch Little House on the Prairie a lot. There is really nothing else on tv I like to watch. Use to watch project Runway but can't get that anymore:(
It premiered a couple weeks ago. Very compassionate and I am a softie for the 40's and 50's. Alston like anything British or England. At the same time Upstairs Downstairs started.
I recently started watching episodes of The Mentalist. Seeing back to back episodes on TNT really got me liking that one, too. Most any forensic type show works for me.
I've never cared for reality shows. Hell...I live in reality so I want some good drama!!!
I miss project Runaway. What happened to that show? I like Masterchef and when I can learn something new and see some excellence in someone's talent.
Dexter I keep hearing how good that show is, but I can never seem to catch it. I wonder if I could catch on if I start watching now.
Never been a fan of Dexter, just a bit creepy for me. :-)
I love "The Good Wife" and "Parenthood". The Amazing Race is amazing to me........I could never do what they do, and I am amazed and impressed that they do it.
Wow i'm quite surprised you get English programs over there, but then if we get American ones.. it would make sense you get some of ours.
The Deadliest Catch...believe it or not..:-) it's one of the few programs my husband and I both enjoy, so, we watch it and " After the Catch" together.
And, Greys Anatomy..
My daughter went on a marathon and watched all the seasons on DVD..so, I watched some with her..
Now..it's our t.v. time together this season..:-)
I used to enjoy the decorating/remodeling shows, and cooking shows.
My concentration wanders too much for t.v. nowadays.
