Thank you very much for your kind words. It was very stressful back then, constantly worrying about money. Fortunately for us, I continued to get paid (at a reduced rate) by my previous employer, since it was considered long term disability. Finally, when my SSDI was approved, it became our only source of income, as it still is today. It by no means is the same amount as what I earned, however, we feel very blessed that we at least have a constant flow of income coming in and we have managed to do very well with it over the years. Our kids are well taken care of and have everything they need and then some. lol Yes, it would be nice to have more money, however, I agree that it isn't everything. I constantly tell my husband that we are so blessed to have each other and so blessed to have our 2 precious kids. We have a very strong little family unit which is something that I am very proud of.
