I feel so neglectful of the hen house, but it isn't for lack of caring. I've had too much going on the past several days and it's it's taken a huge toll on my mind and body.

My pain level was already beyond catching this morning and then as I moved my right arm, something in my shoulder snapped. It sent pain down my arm, my upper back and I can't even describe what it did to my miserable neck. I should have cancelled the client who was coming at 9:00...I had been trying to decide for 2 hours before the snap occurred.

I don't believe the next part of my story was a coincidence...I was desperate beyond words when a former co-worker whom I think the world of, stopped in to hang out and visit. I hadn't seen her for close to 2 months and she hadn't called first.

She stepped in and got my client started for me. I had a perm/cut/color/wax all on this one client...too much for a good day and today ...well...nothing good about it. She was able to stay long enough to wind the whole perm before leaving. I took it from there and pushed beyond my limits to complete the whole service. I never would have been able to do thes rest if I'd had to wind all those perm rods, too.

She was my angelic experience of the day! It was proof to me that angels are sent to help us, they come in many forms and we just need to recognize and be thankful when they appear!

I fear that the snap in my shoulder indicates something that I can't keep ignoring. I'm in so much pain that it's taken a half hour to get this story typed. I will be lying down for a while, now. If anyone needs me, they'll have to ding really loudly!

I would love to join in the hen house discussions, but I can't do it, right now. I'm sorry. You all mean the world to me.
