Good afternoon...I know I'm late.
I had a make up sleep night since I didn't sleep past 1:00 am the night before. Believe it or not, waking at 5:00 is enough to set me behind for the morning. It's a good thing I only had one haircut at 10:00 this morning. Then a break long enough to make cookies before doing haircuts for an elderly couple at 1:00.
Then I ventured out to pick up my dog's script at Rite Aid and they hadn't even noticed that I'd phoned it in...using their handy, automated system...early this morning! Handy...my ass! It's not efficient if they don't check it!
I came back to hush the bananas that were screaming to be transformed into bread and that's baking now. Can I just say, 'OUCH?' I brought in a small amount of wood from my back porch and quickly realized that I can't be doing that, but the temperature is going to plummet tonight and I couldn't reach the Son who usually does this for me.
The sun is bright and beautiful right now, but the wind is howling as it escorts in the storm that's predicted. There should be great piles of snow by Friday....better line up some shovelers.
I'm happily in for the night...and tomorrow and the next day... It works for this hermit!

Going to my mothers to discuss with her and my sister about my parents 60th wedding anniversary party arrangements this March. I hate these things with family, but I do need to pitch in so I'll do my part.
I'm trying to come up with a descriptive like Cherry just gave, but I'm coming up short, as I look around. My desk is a-strew with papers and pens and a box full of broken electrical components, Mubbin walks by in a blue lab coat, past a row of grey cloth partitions. Grey skies threaten another 2 weeks of solid cold rain. AH HELL, you guys do a better job of it.
How are things with you guys? Let me read your good stuff.
I picked up a take and bake pizza for dinner tonight, Chicken Alfredo pizza which I watched the worker make and does it look good!!
Tonight hopefully I can watch some tv with my husband as we didn't do last night because he was on the phone with business problems most of the evening.
Tomorrow I have to do shopping and other appts so I hope this neck things starts to go away soon.

mammogram and then had to deal with son's school and the bank. They had my payment for his classes all messed up. Talk about automatic systems, cherry. The school uses a third party and that was the problem, yet i never got to know who the third party was. I had to drive all the way to the area my mammogram was and pay by person!
Now the sun is down and i actually feel ok. New changes to my diet helps, i think.
Sorry for the migraine, Seren. I use to get them, but haven't in years, but i remember:(
Back to winter here, tomorrow, boy was i enjoying those 60 degree days. now back down to 20's!
So bbq tonight, but eat inside.

I had an afternoon appt. with the dentist. Fortunately, all went well - no cavities, which was a surprise as I am dealing with extreme dry mouth (another Guillain Barre residual) and have to take great care of my teeth in order to preserve them.
My husband drove me to the dentist, after which we went to get a sorbet. Yeah, I know - it was sugar on freshly cleaned teeth, but , my husband suggested it and I couldn't resist it.
Then home to deal with the dishwasher repair company again. Now, I am going to try to lose myself in some t.v. We have been watching Leave It To Beaver on Netflix - they have all 6 seasons and I am loving watching these old shows that remind me of my youth, health, and a more innocent time in the world.
Hugs to all hens and wishes for a peaceful evening and some good sleep. Dixie, I haven't read your update on your son, yet, but will do that now. I am praying for him.

Serenity sorry you still have the migraine. That firing range is on hallowed ground and should be shut down.
When you said throwing grenades it made me think of the movie where a gofer was tunneling in a golf course.

Janie mammogram and dealing with third party on your son's tuition is too much for one day. Automation is a pain in the you know what. I don't which is worse that or middle people on billing. By the way thanks for those jugs :)
Cindylj "look mom no cavities". That is good. I never want to eat after my teeth are cleaned. They feel so
good. Sorbet sounds yummo. Now if you ate a snickers bar or something gooey , well that would be bad.
Dixie it does sound like the doctors are a little challenged in your town. I still go with a blood test but ultrasound would be best and in less time than a week.
