Morning Hens,
It sure was nice to not have to get up to the alarm this morning! Kids are still in bed and its nice and quiet. I want to get up and fix some coffee but don't want to get out of my warm bed. O I will be so glad when spring gets here.
I got a bunch of pictures of my grand baby yesterday. I want to put them in a scrap book but I don't have any paper. I'm trying to decide if I want to drive an hour away to get some. I wish Walmart carried scrap book supplies in single sheets. I hate living in a little bitty town that doesn't have anything.

This morning I am riding along with my husband to get some of his MAN errands done. It will be nice to spend the day with him!!
My pain lever is low right now so hopefully it will stay that way today.

Ah, lazy mornings are nice. Enjoying my little one on my lap and laughing at the funny avatars. All we have to do today is a grocery shopping trip.
Then my DH and K are going to have a father/daughter afternoon and evening while I get to go out for my first "girls night out" in a few years. Excited to see everyone again as we have been friends since middle school. 15 girls who have been causing trouble for 25 years. Should be fun! But I have to admit I am nervous.
It has been so long since I have even been capable of going out. So this is a milestone. What if I crash and burn?
I am taking care of myself today and am ready for after care. They have big plans. Dinner at habatchi place then going to J's house for bonfire, drinks, hot tub, and karaoke. I will simply take it one step at a time. If I still feel good after dinner, I will say I will go to the bonfire for an hour and then play it from there depending on how I feel. And absolutely NO drinking for me. I just may sing though.
Maybe I won't get in to much trouble,lol.

I had about 3 and half hours sleep last night, ive got a headache, but thats not unusual when ive not had my sleep.
I wish we had Walmart's in England, if i ever go to America one day, i'll make sure there's a walmart on the holiday agenda : ) lol. I'm so fascinated.
Been into town just to get out.
Ive got some blueberries, i want to make a cake of some kind to put them in.

empathy, yes, walmart is now a US institution! i have mixed feelings - a lot of mom & pop stores lost out.
feeling a bit better after better sleep, going to put on a pot of pinto beans and try to bake falafel...need some healthy food.

I chose the opposite of all you lazy, blanket snuggling hens. I set my alarm for 3:00am so that I'd have many hours to do whatever was necessary in order to work this morning. I was in the shower by 4:30 so I could get my new patch on since it takes hours to start working.
There is so much to do around here in the morning and then add setting up for clients and shoveling the entryway, building a woodfire...I was near tears with pain an hour before they arrived. I drank a big glass of oj because a friend told me it sort of jump starts the meds. There may be something to it. I slowly started to feel enough relief to know I'd get through my work schedule.
I'm on a coffee break before starting to bake a big batch of Gingersnaps to bring to my Son and his Fiance's new house. We've all been waiting patiently for them to get settled so they'd let us see it! Today is the day!
Empathy, I make Blueberry Buckle and it's my family's absolute favorite thing to do with berries! I posted the recipe last year, I think. Let me know if you'd like me to do that again.
Tonna, it's good to have you back and I'm so excited for you to be getting out again! You have been through hell and come out the other side...YAY!
Cindi...I know you didn't intend to type pain lever, but I like the idea of being able to control it with a lever!

Feeling a bit blah and achy today. I am not sure why i have these days and get so frustrated when i do!
I have to go the Cost-co and will wait till i have a burst as the crowd is a bit much.

Tonna, how fun to have friends that long. I only have one, but my brother and his gang of 8 get together all the time and have so much fun!
Dixe, i'm not sure what others are talking about, but my thoughts are with you! My stores are 20 minutes away, we only have bars in my small town and golf courses!

Dixie wish you were closer to a craft store. It would be nice if you could find what you like at Walmart. The pictures of you little princess are so sweet.

Alice I am with you, we have three walmarts in a ten mile radius. Not a fan. We have a Target 5 miles away and I like it. I have heard it takes time for the knee. Did you have a total replacement?

I'm feeling better finally being sick for a week has drained all my energy. I've still got a bad cough and chest congestion. I hope everyone has had a good day. Stay safe and warm tonight. I'll be around if anybody wants to chat for a few.
