I get so mad, seems like everything gets to me. So when I have a good day or moment even, I over do it and pay for it big time. I was always told, do the things you have to do first and then if you have any spoons left do the extra. Well all my spoons are used up within an hour of the kids getting home after 3 pm, so what am I suppose to do all day? It's frustrating! But I see where you were trying to go with this thread and it is important to prioritize.
Prioritize....yep, something you definitely learn to do!
Everybody around here can go to the dickens till i have my coffee! Yep....definitely prioritize! LOL
Hugs:)
Then I look at my list (actually my book) of to do items and choose as follows:
1-Does it make money for the house?
2-Is it a medical necessity?
3-How many spoons do I have left?
4-If kids are coming around, i save spoons to make memories with.
5-If no kids are coming I tackle at least 3 things of importance off my list.
Obviously my house is a mess, and my dogs are spoiled.
Today I am working on getting well enough to pick up meds. Hubby will have to drive, spent the night and morning sick and in pain so I used too many spoons. (Love that theory).
I feel like a "whine" fest. White whine on the rocks! But I guess I better stick to coffee and counting spoons.
Have a great one, a low spoon day! -RJ
However...I did what I thought was the right thing by postponing the shopping trip, this morning. I did end up taking on an extra guy's haircut right before my color arrived, though. Heck...I had the place open and an extra 15 minutes to kill. It was a fast $20!
But now, my meds aren' even helping. My neck and shoulder are burning, I'm feeling a little sick and dizzy and I have at least 2 hours of work ahead of me.
Even when I try to be careful, I just get shot down...whine!
i called a barely-know friend and asked if she had time to get out. not a favor-asking asking person. she was glad to get out as it's lovely here today. i had to wait 30 minutes, but there's a bench and they had all the flowers out, so no problem. i offered her gas money which she refused and even offered to take me dinner next time. holy moly. was this karma for having the courage to ask for help. i did throw the fridge things in and dropped the rest. got on here with penny in my lap. ate a piece of string cheese and hitting the sofa.
took one pain pill while i was out and another soon. i'm tired of chasing pain. not sure if i just babbled or added to this :)
