dixie, i wish i could come hold your hand. i'm pretty good at that when friends are concerned. i looked up natural ant killers for my mother and still have that link. still you should call the exterminator and have him back up his job. just don't take no and maybe have a script written out. as for the colonoscopy, i've been putting mine off for months. just hate having tests done in general, but i have a mental block here, too. just have to do it at some point. i've just told my dr that i will let her know when i will do it. i have to mentally prepare. i often think of the worst case scenario and try to prepare for all outcomes, but slowly i'm seeing how this is stopping me from doing things i want bc it wasn't as hard or difficult to prepare for as i had myself believe. you know how i freak when they do pop up inspections here. i'm not a surprise person either!

i didn't mean to turn this into a novel, but i'm with you and do understand.

i'm still not in top form today with this stomach bug. not as bad, but tentative, plus massive weather changes really hit me through the night. may add something to my rice and tea diet today. really wanting to cook, but soon.

Kim, I am so sorry about your aunt.
It is so terribly hard when the docs say that there is nothing more that they can do. I sure know that situation.
It sounds like a very busy week for you but what helps me is just looking at things to do one day at a time and try not to worry about tomorrow.
Easy to say then do sometimes!

Serenity, As for many people going for a colonoscopy it is always something that is not a fun part of a day but thank God that they put you in a twilight sleep and you don't remember anything!!

I am sorry that I have not been around for a few days but so much has been going on.
Yesterday we spend the day with my daughters family.
The funniest part of the day was when the girls fixed papas hair with their hair accessories!
I posted 2 photos here on My Photos… very funny.

Today I am going over to my FIL for a visit and clean up his house a little. He always keeps me busy but it is such a good thing because it actually helps both of us.

OMG I'm such a worrier no wonder i have anxiety! lol.
Anxious pple like to know what? where? when? and who? just to feel safe, even tho its illogical because life happens and there's no stopping it.
I dont like surprises either, even from my DH, but then thats the control freak in me. My son is the same and the funny thing is when he was little, i'd tuck him into bed each night and he'd ask "what are doing tomorrow?" Every night he asked me. It was like he couldn't go to sleep until he knew what was happening so he could prepare mentally or something.
I'm sure if any of us hens lived near you, you'd have plenty of company for your appointment : )
I hate anything medical, you know what i was like before i had to have my gall bladder out, so i get how nervous you are.

I'm hoping that i will finish the decorating this week plus ive got 2 days at work which is like 2 days at the gym with all the heavy lifting!
Easter weekend i want to get out in the garden and have a general tidy up and sort some plants out.

Empathy I know you are going to enjoy that time off for your garden. That unloading business sounds hard work and I agree much like going to a gym. Hope they give you the proper tools to keep yourself from injury.

So strange to go to bed last night with the A/C on and tonight the heat. I think our high today was in 40s. Yesterday we had flooding in some areas of our downtown and city. One area was where I used to work.
Very strange weather we are having. Today has been quiet. My husband took pictures of area rugs for our living room and texted them to me. We found one we both liked. I love my husband. The weather has really put my neck in a flare and I don't want to get out. When he got it home and on the floor it looks like it has always been here. Just works that well. We get our new recliners on Wednesday. So excited.
