I'm sitting in the room waiting for the dr. To come in. I've hurt my back, but when I first came in here there was a little girl maybe about 6 that was crying and complaining. She is still crying and I've been here for an hour. It makes me mad because I would bet you $100 that if the mother would just get off her phone and pay her some attention the little girl would stop her crying. I am assuming she is sick and not feeling good. Instead the mother is jerking her off the floor, ruffly shoving her in the chair, scolding her ect. All while trying to look at her phone. Poor kid. It makes me so sad. It may be getting on the mothers nerves but it's her own fault, the child would stop if she would just love her. I think she needs to be held and comforted. I see this a lot, everywhere I go. Why do people want to have kids now days if they are not going to be devoted to them? Maybe they need to teach young teens in school the enormous amt. Of time and effort it takes in raising children. Maybe then they would think twice about having kids. I think about all the kids that are abused and unwanted and it just breaks my heart and if I am honest it makes me very mad sometimes. I will give my DIL credit....my granddaughter is extremely spoiled but she is not a Bratt and I think it is because her mother devotes all her attention to her whenever she needs it. She is never ignored and always babies over the least little infraction she has. She has never been a whiny kid because she gets the emotional support she needs. Her mother has and does do a great job with her. Always patient, kind, soft spoken and loving with her.
Sorry for the rant.
Back issue...I just bent over to take my slippers off and I guess pulled a muscle but it is extremely painful and I can't bend, sit or lie comfortably. So hopping dr. Will give me a shot. I had this happen once before.
I hope you are all doing well. And the new year is starting off well.
Just saw dr. Getting a steroid shot and a tori doll shot and some muscle relaxers. Hope it works fast!

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

Its so easy to stick a infant/child in front of an i pad or give them your phone to play games on.

I so hope that your Doc apt. has given you some relief from the pain. And please never apologize for a rant as we never see it as that.
Empathy, I have often wondered how we ever made it through a rode trip without a video. We just played the old timey road games.
