Yesterday was a tough one to endure. I started the day wih awful spasms in my left butt cheek and down my leg. I developed Sciatica several weeks ago and instead of starting to improve, it's continually gotten worse. My right leg is starting to show signs of the same problem, though it might be from over compensating. I've had to work while keeping my weight on my right leg.
I was used to having many days of throbbing legs and feet, but having this in addition, is making life very uncomfortable. My pain meds have little affect. It hurts terribly to sit so even a few minutes in the car, at a restaurant or at my computer, hurt terribly and intensify the spasms.
I saw my PT yesterday after 2 weeks...I told her she wasn't allowed any more vacations! I had regressed considerably. She was fairly amazed at the intensity of the spasms and the fact that it was now all the way down my leg and up into my back. She spent a long time trying to get the muscles to release, but was met with little success. She also noted that she'd never seen me that late in the day before and can see why I'm unable to do much by that hour.
My evening was hell...decided to give the muscle relaxants another shot. Well...I won't be doing that again! Besides doing very little for the spasms, it made me so dizzy and uncoordinated that I was afraid to go near my stairs. I spent the evening lying down...getting up...lying down. I felt like I was going to fall asleep, but didn't and truthfully, was a little scared to give in.
I finally decided to take my chances with a half dose of Trazodone figuring it would either help me sleep or finish me off. I was awake in an hour and a half...so much for that plan.
Has anyone else dealt wth this? Why is this happening? Is my body lacking some nutrient? How will I stand it if it keeps getting worse? I see my doc next week and I don't even know what to ask for.
Help...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I'm sorry things are so bad for you Cherry.
