I've been a day off all week. That never happened when my business was open and I had a consistent work schedule. I don't do well with such a random work schedule. I had no clients today so I tried to make it my recovery day.
The last three nights combined don't equal one night of sleep. I'm ready to drop in my tracks. It didn't get above 17 degrees today so I never left the house.
I was too tired to join the morning thread, but I've read it all. I'd love to hear how everyone's doing on this end of the day.

Boy I tell you, I could get spoiled with my husband home. No let me be honest, I am spoiled when my husband is home. He came home For lunch today, saw that I was hurting and said he would go pick up the kids from school. Then he came home and started cooking supper. It sure is nice not to have to get out in cold rainy weather like today when I'm hurting so bad. I'm one lucky girl.
I did do one constructive thing today, I made cookies this morning:)

I hope I don't have to pull over and nap on my way home today, but I think it will be one of those days. Tonight is a vegetative night in front of the TV, I think. Today I was pulled in so many directions by so many departments. Should clean the house some, but.....fruit smoothie, ice packs and cooking channel is a better idea.

I know the feeling about being pulled EN. Today i thought to myself the only time i have ever stayed in bed for the full day is after surgery! That is probably why my sinus/ cold is taking so darn long to get over!
It seems as i have said before my house Grand Central Station! On leaves and an other stops by. Like clock work daughter and grandsons! I love them, but a bath or a book at the end of the day, please!!

Today, I moved a step closer to finding someone new to take care of my landscaping. He has years of experience and seems to be someone who can handle, what is really, in the big picture, a small job. Now, with just a few more details to sort out, I have to find the courage to fire my current guy. I just don't know what to say or how to communicate it. He is a nice man, who unfortunately, just doesn't have the training to do the job I want him to do...

Well, my husband will be home from his trip within a few hours. I survived! And, so did our kitty, who also hates it when he is gone. Now, It is Leave It To Beaver time again (working my way through 240 episodes) and then a late dinner with hubby. Then, maybe some sleep.

Cherry sure know what you mean about getting days mixed up. No job is even worse. Hubby and I both
go through that. Our markers are church and garbage day. In between we often look at the calendar or
our cell phone to find what day of the week it is. Sleep deprivation, which you have will do that too.
I am glad it isn't Friday yet.
Dixie what a wonderful man to go pick up the boys and cook dinner. Maybe you need to let the air out of his tires so he can't leave. I will be thinking and wondering all night about what kind of cookies you made.
Angela you probably wish it were Friday. Naps are good but not on the side of road.
Janie I love to hear about your dinners. Once you mentioned a pantry dinner. Would love to know what
that is. My pantry dinner would be cereal. I can see from your posts you don't spend much time in bed.

We went through model homes at a resort type gated community. This is usually not something would enjoy.
I did today with my sister. The staging in these homes was awesome. Loved looking at the decor. Almost all had living areas outside with fireplaces and water features. A few had small saltwater pools. Some even had an outdoor kitchen.
One home master bedroom had a room within the room. It was like a study. The cool thing was that the door going into that room had a mirror that covered the entire door. You really had to look to know there was a door
there. My sister and I were well ahead of our husbands and we went in and shut the door. Our husbands were looking for us.
