Haha Cherry does that mean we cook the Easter ham on Monday??
I have been hurting the last couple of days but need to get the house cleaned for Sunday. This Easter the kids spend the day with their dads so Curts children will be here.

cindi, hope you have a nice Easter. hope the pain subsides.

i'm going to my sister's, so i want to make a roasted veggie dip. the oven and my little food processor does most of the work. i'm excited that my dad will be able to join us. physically he's doing better, but mentally he's declining. still it will be good to see him and the rest of the family.

Cindi, it seems you always have a gang at your house for holidays. It's great to have so much family...as long as they all pitch in and help!

Serenity, how wonderful that your Dad can be there! It's hard to see the mental decline in our parents, though. My sister and I are dealing with 3 that are all starting to forget and mix things up. My Dad is in great physical shape at almost 90, but he can only remember things that happened a long time ago. He constantly repeats himself. Mom is starting to catch up and that's really scary since she's had to take over the running of the household and do things that are completely new to her. The third one is my Aunt...no kids...so that leaves my Sister and me.

Kim, I'm hoping once you fill your coffee quota you'll have more to say!

Not much here. Husband walked the girls and came home with another Lab mix that followed him home.
The shelter is closed due to Good Friday. He had a collar on at one time because you can see around his neck. He is nice and behaved. We can't keep him . He will stay through the weekend. Our friend fosters for a program that adopts dogs out in the north. She said if we take him to the shelter she would let her organization know he is there.

Hope all the hens have had a day of less pain. Janie good luck with all that packing. Serenity great news on Easter dinner with the whole family. Cindi enjoy the kids. We are two this year. No family. Musk good to see you hear. Hello Dixie .
