Earthquake

A few minutes ago, my old house shook so bad that my dogs all started barking and we ran downstairs. I've felt earthquakes here before so I knew that's what it had to be.

I started checking different tv channels to see if it was mentioned and I just got the validation that my dogs and I were right. It was reported as a 4.6 just outside of Portland Maine and my house shook in northern Vermont! If it scared me this much from miles away, I'd most likely have peed my pants if I lived where it actually happened!

It certainly brought me to a wide awake state...maybe I'll see the debate, afterall. I'm a little afraid to sleep.

We had one in Arkansas some time ago. My bed was vibrating....shaking. Woke me up.

Before we moved to San Diego, we lived in Los Angeles county and then in Orange County. Earthquakes were a weekly occurrence for a period just before we moved away. It was one of the reasons we decided to move. They ARE frightening. And, you never get used to them.

We've had them around here in southern illinois too. We had one last yr and I thought I was getting vertigo again lol. We get alot of mine subsidence too, it's calmed down though, thank goodness.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
