Well my dr. Apt. Got canceled just as we got there. He had a meeting he had to go to so we go back again today. I don't expect any answers. I expect he will probably refer me out to another Dr. And the tests will start all over again:( it got rescheduled for today at 4:00

Anyone else have a hard time keeping Christmas presents til Christmas Day? I want to give my kids and my mom theirs so bad I can hardly stand it!!!! Lol...I'm worse than a little kid! 5 weeks is a long way off when your anxious for it to get here!:)

O....Took Littlebit to the vet yesterday for her swollen toe....she had a stitch that was embedded and couldn't come out. He got it out and have her a shot of antibiotics and blessedly only charged me for the shot which was $15. It was just starting to get infected. So got her there just in time.

Going to be a long day for me.

I cringe when I think of Christmas shopping...no rent coming in and only working a little doesn't exactly get me in the spirit. I see a lot of baking and candy making in my near future!

yes, the past few days of dreary weather really zapped my energy and affected my mood. i'm not looking forward to more. my heater just stopped working last night and i had to call the maintenance guy after hours. it was gross. they never showed me how to clean it and they maintenance checks, so why wouldn't they check that? he also says this unit is ancient and will see about a replacement. really?

dixie, i'm sorry you have to go back there today. i hope you don't get the run around. do you have any recent records or test results to take? i'm glad that someone here is super excited for Christmas. i hope you're contagious there. i want to be, but i feel so stressed for ideas and money.

Its been sunny but the wind is chilly!
Ive done a little more Christmas shopping, i don't get exited like you dix, i worry that what i have got is enough, but if you haven't got enough money, then you have to say to yourself its the thought that counts.

Empathy, That is so true about the thought that counts during Christmas… We are starting to cut down also. The kids are all grown adults and don't need all the gifts to open which brings joy to the small ones.
I do love shopping for the grand girls though!

As for me my flu virus as turned into a respiratory thing now.. hopefully gone soon.

Getting a few Christmas things done. Are gift cards bad? It is so hard to shop for my 25 year old son.

for me it depends on the gift card, if its for one shop in particular, then you are tied to that shop, but if its a shopping center ie shopping mall gift card thats good, more choice....... why not just just stick the money you was going to put on the card in an envelope instead, he can spend it on whatever he likes then.
Or you give the money in fun ways like these..
