No sleep for me last night, so I am hoping to get a nap sometime today....sure that's not going to happen either but I can wish.
I'm going to do some crocheting today....trying to get ready for a craft show. I really need to make some soap but I'm too tired and not enough energy for that.
I think Like you it's too early to tell what I'll get done yet .
Hugs & Coffee :)
Why do I feel so uncomfortable saying that? Worse...and even harder to say...it's really bringing me down. Low.
No Sisie Sunshine from me today....sorry.
Cause we are suppose to be the tuff one's in the family? Strong, there for everyone yadda yadda?
I think some of us grow up being taught with the idea to show pain or hurt is a sign of weakness.
I think for me, I just wanted to be like my dad. And then I had to take care of the family when he died. Be the strong one.
But we are among all girls here JC and we all understand how it is.....so I dare you to tell it like it is!!! See thw quote at the top of the home page of the Hen House!
I was hurting really bad for the past two days.....dummy me was taking the wrong meds....and you wonder how I got messed up with the invites!!!?!!! It was easy! Sometimes I think I'm losing my mind!

Hugs and all that jazz...
I normally don't allow myself the "5 minute pity party" that we are all entitled to but this last week I had my days. Funny, my husband did not know what to do. I was really upset and in pain and i think it is the first time he has noticed. Men can be so self absorbed. My pity party is over I know how blessed I am.
My very dear friend called yesterday and her doctor told her she had stage 3 cervical cancer, a very rare form and she needed to get her affairs in order quick. Sadly her husband just divorced her for a street hooker that he felt he had rescued from the drug world. She still has a 9th grade daughter at home. That means he will be rasing this child in that very strange enviroment. I can't have a good pity party knowing what she is going through. Now I feel selfish for feeling bad about me.
There is always someone in a worse situation, so I keep trying to count my blessings.
Wishing everyone a low pain, blessed day. -RJ
Yes there is always someone in a worse situation, but you need to share what's going on with you too , or vent, whatever. I think it helps to let it out so we can de-stress a little. Stress is stress! And stress does some pretty awful things to us. So no matter how little the problem I hope you feel comfortable blowing off steam here:)

I had a weird experience the other day. They say that God, the Great Spirit, the Energy Source, (whatever a person believes) sends messages to guide us if we just listen. I had a stranger come up to me and say, "Wow, you are absorbing everyone's negative energy, you need to surround yourself with positive or you will find yourself getting sicker." It was the strangest thing, because I do take on the caregiver for anyone who needs help. And currently I am not doing well at all, I am in a downward spiral trying to hold on to the rope. The person moved on into the crowd, I have no idea who they were but they sure nailed it. I have only had that happen a couple of times in my life, it is really strange.
My husband and I did visit a new church last night to learn about what classes and programs they were offering. I think we found a wonderful spiritual home. My husband had lots of questions and the pastor stayed an hour after the meeting and talked to my husband. It is the first time a pastor has taken that much time to try and help him. I was very impressed. There was a lot of positive energy at this church.
Trying to stay positive. Love your idea of a women's group. Need more coffee! -Hugs
I have to make a journey 70 miles and back with DH. Not looking forward to the drive/ passenger/ sitting!
Being kind to myself, and reminding myself to do that! Have a good day Girls! Thanks for including me, I'm really honored. X
I'm glad everyone is going to say it all just as if we were having a Girly coffee x
I am one hot mess. Thought I had a reoccurrence of shingles. I saw nurse practioner last thursday and was put on Valtrex. I didn't take it because I decided it was just nerve pain from my past bout of shingles. On Monday I had the burning tingling in my lower back and was on way out the door for an appointment. I grabbed the Valtrex and took it on the way to appointment.
When we arrived home I asked my husband to check my back. He said I had a rash from the butt all the way up to my back and also in the area where I was feeling the start of shingle pain. Geez!! He even thougt the saw blisters with the magnifying glass. Geez again! On Tuesday I have rash on the back of my arms. I ask him does the rash look like this? Yes he says. I think no this can't be shingles. Heat rash or something else.
In any case I already have 8:15 AM appointment with doctor yesterday. Yesterday very early hours I wake up itchy in crotch area. Turn on light and I have angry red big bumps. WTH? I slapped some calamine lotion on and tried to go back to sleep.
Verdict is chiggers in crotch area and dry skin on the rash except lower back which does look like shingles. I haven't had chiggers since I was a child. Never remember having them there.
I told my doctor I thought I might be a little high strung. I just know she wanted to say "ya think?" but she calmly said said yes a little.
Are you spitting your coffee out by now?
Thanks for the reminder to look to the almighty first. I think I have been so worn down that I have been praying on the run. I need to get back in sync. Need to surround myself with the white light and positive energy that MyShoes talks about.
Good thoughts. -RJ
