Good morning!

I am about to do my last client in my salon...boo hoo. A little later, I'll be trying out my new portable shampoobowl in the kitchen...making Mom be the first!

The rest of the day will be spent working on clearing out more stuff from my salon in preparation for the contractor coming next week. He took the signs down yesterday. That was difficult to watch. I know I'm doing the only thing I can if I want to survive and keep my house so I'll just have to toughen up and deal with it.

i'm playing it by ear today...big chance of storms. look at nashville sites. maybe cook a bit since i realized i've eaten processed food for 2 weeks and wonder if that's related to pain.

I am happy to say that I am interviewing for the first applicant of the new position in my department. I convinced the bosses that it was going to cost the company more in mistakes and lost opportunity if they don't let me hire, than if they do, so they offered to let me hire TWO this year. (insert victory dance)

Long weekend for us here. I sure need it. This monday I get my 18 month old grandson for the day of hugs and giggles.

I'm smiling through my pain. Hope the day is better for you all.

Sorry about the closing of your salon Cherry, hope it all works out.

Today I think I'll send DH to the store and stay home and putts around the house.
Not in the mood to do much.

Will close up the house as it will be 101 today.

Hi hens, I'm taking the kids shopping for school clothes today. Need to pick up a few groceries as well. I'm thinking it's going to be a long day:(

I am getting everything ready for two overnight visitors. Madison and Keira my two granddaughters. Looking forward to their visit.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
