Morning Hens,
I am not babysitting today! I needed a break lol. She is a handful and demands constant attention.
My baby will be home today. He has been spending the nights with friends but promised to come home and spend this last day with us. We are going to take him out to eat tonight. There are family members that want to come by and see him before he leaves. I am already crying.
Going to do a little house work today if I can.
What are you girls up to?

85FToday I need to go and get Mom and Dad's birth certificates, marriage license and Dad's death certificate. Mom is in no shape to find that infor for the social security office to correct the mistatke they made in Mom's income. Just one more thing I need to do. Mom was in bed asleep and I didn't wake her. It's obvious the end is really near. What I am upset about is if Mom had been willing to...

89FNo energy, just going to do whatever. Sandra, It's hard to move at a certain time in life. You've been in your home forever, at least you'll be able to travel to the beach and enjoy. Oh, we did hear Boris Johnson's tenure ended due to a series of ethics scandals, accusations of dishonesty and a final collapse of government support that forced his recognation. What he didn't do like the...

i'm finally a little less tired after a work-a-thon with mother. i'm going to play catch up around here again.
good day to all!
All children that age are a handful! lol But i sure miss my son being that age on occasions, happy memories : )
That sounds like a nice way of spending the day and evening with him. So does that leave you with only 1 at home?
We walked to our local shops today, its the first time ive had any real exercise in weeks. I am feeling much more myself today. We had to get the bus back tho as it started to rain quite heavy.
Ds painted the ceiling in the spare room (which was my sons room) to help me out as all work in that room stopped when i got sick.
Just chilling this afternoon and taking it easy : )
Seren, take care with the catch up
love and hugs
Kim sounds like it is close time for son #1 . I remember my sister with her son. He is now 44 and has turned in his retirement. He went in like D. right out of high school. Wishing you and family good times before he leaves.
Serenity it should be an open window day since the rain washed away some of the pollen. Hope you will pace yourself. Girl you have got to settle it down. One day a serene Serenity day all day long. Treat you like you do mom and everyone else. Make yourself snack bags, chop up some good fruit for smoothies, prepare your favorite songs in a loop and plug in the ear buds. Promise yourself you won't listen for a knock on door. No calls. Arrange it with mom. Tell her mental health day unless emergency. PLEASE do this for you.
Empathy I am so glad to hear you are getting stronger. I am with everyone on taking it easy back at work.
Listen to your body. If you do that it will be good. just don't push it or you might end up back on your back.
The sky didn't fall while you rested ........you just got bored and saw some great Telly and movies. I have seen The Descendants with Clooney. A range of emotions and the back drop of Hawaii beautiful. Sadness on the air quality warnings you have received. During the summer we have a chart in paper. Most go their merry way but I see and feel sad because the damage we have done to our earth I am not sure we can repair and we just keep on going with it.
Angela is in Cuba. Wow!!!! Yesterday our president had some sort of summit or meeting with Castro in Panama. Lots of demonstrations. I think I may have been six or seven when US citizens traveled freely to Cuba. I would go. I would pack large bag of clothes and whatever is hardest to get. Wear my clothes while there and leave with what is on back and a suitcase full of what the street vendors sell. Walk those beautiful beaches and more than anything soak in 1950. That is Cuba. 1950. Well that and oppressed and so many other things. I don't question anyone going to Cuba. If you get on a cruise ship there are many ports where the islands are oppressed in much the same way. US just doesn't have sanctions and get involved with there government.
Janie it was good to see a check in from you the other day. You are in the beautiful California with Mom.
I think there was a promise to catch us up. Last photo I looked at your newest part of your home was looking
almost or actually complete.
I believe I have found culprit that is draining me and making me feel unwell in general. It is my new muscle relaxer. Unfortunately it is probably the only one that you have to wean off of. I am down one and can tell results when the other two leave system. Actually one is at bedtime so it is only AM that hits me. Calling dr.
office Monday am. This business killed my beach vacation. Also scared me but at least I think and hope I figured it out because if it is not that I am scared. I don't like this feeling weak as a kitten.
Wishing all a great weekend
hippy
hippy, i'm so glad you found out the culprit. hope your dr can offer a better suggestion. that's why i hate to be put on new meds. i usually fall in the 5th percentile of weird sides.
i need to print out your permission slip and print it. thanks for the encouragement! i made it downtown bc the grocery store is closed tomorrow. that is overriding other plans and i asked mother if i could i could only stay 2 days for the pet sitting. i don't like her being in the country alone b/c it is a 2 woman job...she was ok with that. i think it's the best i can do.
good to hear form you all!
