Hi Dix, Ive been to work today, i'm resting my feet now and having a well deserved cup of tea!
Head lice lol, i remember those days, fortunately, my son only got them a couple of times, me never and i never used chemicals. I always did the old fashioned way of covering his head in plenty of conditioner and using the nit comb, they slide right out, of course you have to repeat with this method every couple of days as the head lice grow. Do they live on bedding? I thought it was just hair? Mind you, it does make make you want to wash everything in sight.

Empathy you need one of those foot massagers!
Supposedly they get on bedding and then on you and in your hair, but no they cannot live in bedding. I'm mostly just being overly cautious. I boiled the combs and brushes too long though and all the bristles came out so now I have to go buy new brushes:( lol

dixie, sorry about that extra work. ahhh, creeps me out b/c they do lay eggs on bedding and anything that touches your head, so wash everything on high heat.

empathy, that's a good idea on the foot massager or a soaker that you can epsom salts in. my aunt is going through two foot surgeries and i tortured my tootsies for years and have to be very careful with the shoes i wear now. nothing more than a kitten heel. good luck with all the washing.

i'm ready to put on crockpot chili and tina brought me her large one. i had planned to get to the mobile market, but i fell into a deep sleep. i've been physically and emotionally exhausted and it's kicking in. there's not enough coffee to deal with this.

seren, i'm not surprised, you feel so exhausted, youve been "there" for everybody else lately, its time you had a bit of "me" time, your body and mind is telling you to slow down a bit and unwind.

my friend was telling me how expensive a funeral is these days, 3 to 4 thousand for the basic cheapest and they want the money upfront, you cant pay in instalment. Does it cost that much in America?

dixe ..............very good to here from you .....I know just how you feel ..and it is good that you are gettin treated since you had head to head contact ....many people think only dirty people get head lice ..not true ..they love clean hair and any one can get them fron comming in contact with someone who has them or by waring someone's hat that has them .............one time my sisters girls had been at there dads and ..she picked them up and I was going to keep them ..for a weak so we were just setting at the table and I noticed ..one of the girls were itching so I looked at her head and Sean bites and than I seen a lice ...have to make supper brb ..

I am back ...i had my neaces to sit at the table and had my sister ..pick up the ...stuf you need to get rid of the lice ..and I think she brought them home ..so I sprain my table with raid and I had a nice African violit my brother had given to me and I don't know what I was thinking I sprayed that to ..it died instantly ...i javexed my hole kitchen and portch ..I donr think they have ever been so clean .nothing could of survived that ....than I took a shower ..used sunlight dis hope on my hair and dandruff shampoo and tha my normal shampoo ...I was like you I got itchey as soon as I saw those lice ....so after that we checked all our hair for three weaks ..for nats they call then they are eggs the lay ...right close to the root of the hair ...and it will be round or over but no rugh surface ...so you need a specual comb for that you get at the farmacy .............

Oh the nits....this is the time of year. When it is cold and children wear stocking hats to school. Those hats go in cubbies or are hung next to one another. Hip hop those nits go and take a ride home, one set of grandchildren had them one year. It was a big event. They had not been at my house or their dads so mom had pleasure. Kim I would be itching too. I totally freak out on these things.

Serenity I do agree you need some me time. A project that will encompass you and keep you from the little things. If not a project then a good book. Anything that will occupy your mind and draw you away from all that is going on around you. A do not disturb sign on your door. Screen your calls. Let the world roll by for a day and refresh.

I went for my PT today. My neck has calmed down but my shoulder hasn't. He worked on that. Some dry needling and light massage. Then the manual traction. I will go back next Thursday. Adam (my therapist &owner ) happens to know the pain management doctor my spine doctor is referring me to and he said he is very good. Also said he is hard to get in to. I haven't had a call yet so that might explain. I trust my spine doctor to get me there. It took me a long time to get to my spine doctor and he was worth the wait.
