How is everyone? Tomorrow is the big day...got your stretchiest pants ready to wear? Lol we are going to MIL's and taking a green been casserole...easy. Then sat. We are going to my Brothers house. What are your plans?
I should go read Tuesday's post, you guys may already have answered this:) I didn't take time to catch up before I posted.
My mom is coming over to play today. School is out of course. No other plans for the day. Maybe run to town to get the dogs some chew bones:)

yes, i'm planning my outfit! we're going to my sister's house and her new in-laws are all good cookers as well. my niece is going to her bf's, my nephew to his new in-laws and my relatives in FL have the flu, so we'll be short a few people. i don't have to bring a thing, but i'd like to contribute. from here it's over an hour with dad, so i'll get him a snack bag ready today.
i have to get out for meds and a few other things pretty soon before things get too crazy at the grocery stores and while my bus pass is good. i started a big cleaning project in the kitchen yesterday, so my little bit of counter space is overwhelmed, but i'll manage to do something.

I have a #2 today so it will be a trying day and I hope it doesn't hit a #3. Just going to busy myself in work. Thanks for the insight yesterday, Serentiy. You have a way of packaging things so simply that makes sense. I went home and ate dinner with my son and then went to my room and watched Netfllix for a few hours and went to sleep. No more struggling or thinking or pleasing for a while. I am checking out until I am ready to check back in.

Just said goodbye to the two grandchildren and will get down to some food prep for tomorrow, it will just be my husband and I and our son and his GF. His children who have been with us will go with mom to their grannies and then back to him for the rest of the week and weekend. I like to try a new dish each year . This year it is sweet potato cream brûlée. I have made sweet potato pies many years for Thanksgiving. I want to switch it up. I will take a picture and post. Speaking of pics....I posted a picture of Kegan's Polar Express Ride. My husband said the joy on his face gave him joy and delight. Kegan has a great imagination. Many if you might have not seen this wonderful Christmas movie. Tom Hanks did a wonderful job and it is all about believing. We watch the movie every year.
Serenity wishing you an enjoyable day with you family and may it be a peaceful one. You are so good to think of your dad for his snacks. Many wishes for him to be comfortable and you as well.
