Morning Hens,
Will be busy today getting dh ready to go back on the road. Our driver is coming in today and quitting. He said the work was too hard for him. He also said it "frightens" him.
Serenity did you get your inspection over with or did they just move you to the bottom of the list since your weren't home yesterday? Get your packing undone?
Janie I have never heard of burning man...will have to look it up:) going to check out your pics too.

i've unpacked what was in three boxes and still looking for places. they're coming through the week, but won't say what floors what day, so i get to have this hovering til friday. i just hung two prints from my aunt. and i have another box or two coming from mother. i so overdid it yesterday that i'm going to try and really pace today.

Dix, some people don't like ward work, ever if they are able. Good money not that important Reound here.

Dixie, I am thinking that is bad news that your driver is quitting? Maybe that's a good thing if the work is too hard for him and he is "frightened" about the work? What kind of driving is he doing? :-)
seren, sounds like you are making progress with the unpacking. Hope you were able to pace yourself and not overdue. Good luck with inspections. It is so frustrating waiting on people.
Janie, not sure of burning man. It does somehow sound familiar but just can't put my finger on it. I will have to look it up. Porks chops sound really good. I cannot remember the last one I had. :-(
So hoping and praying that you have no threat from the fires. Good news.....no wind there.
I have got to email my Mom back. She keeps asking if she can come over and take care of me. She wants to cook for me and promises she wouldn't bug me. I told her that her cooking for me was great.....if only I could swallow. I know I might have sounded rude when I said that the next time I get a cold or flue; I would love some chicken soup or her famous Gumbo. I do not want her to see me in the turmoil that I am feeling with not being able to swallow. It's killing her not knowing what to do but I have no answer. It's killing ME not knowing what to do about it.
