I went to Paintball on Saturday and I have 8+ good sized welts on my body, but I had a great time running around in the forest like a kid. Oigh my head is paying the price though.
I got some great news this week from my Neurologist. Where I work, we make underwater computers for scuba divers and as an employee, we get free scuba diving lessons. However, the lessons waiver says that if you have migraines or are taking anti-seizer meds, then you need clearance from you doctor. I thought for sure that I would be turned down because I am so chronic, but my Neuro said that it was not life threatening and signed me off. It may cause me a migraine, but hey, what doesn't in my life; that doesn't stop me from having a life. Happy Dance.
Today I'm going to spend time with my parents like I do every sunday and clean their apartment and I think I'll cook some ribs for my kids.
How is everyone else's Sunday going to to turn out?

Son fixed the breaks on his truck yesterday so he is back to having a truck to drive:) contacts and a truck...is he a happy teen or what?! LOL
I have a mushroom potato soup Recipe I found in a taste of home magazine I would like to try today. Need to get to the store though to get much rooms and whipping cream. It calls for leeks but I don't like leeks so I'm going to use a reg. onion.

what a great opportunity you have to have scuba lessons. paintball? i heard those hits really do hurt. i'll skip that but scuba sounds like a big time. how nice of you to visit and clean for your parents.
my plans were sidelined yesterday. i must have pulled something on my shopping trip. i could barely move my right arm and huge thunderstorms moved in, so i called postponement. i can still barely lift my coffee mug. i hope can do it today. my mother said it sounds like tendonitis which i hope is wrong. i'll just play it by ear and go in little phases if i choose to accept this mission!

I always seem to be pulling something these days, i'm just accepting it as part of getting older, but i will mention it when i see the dr about a muscle in my back that is really aggravating me, just incase.
Its a lovely day and ive been painting the front step and the back step into the garden and along the bottom of the wall to clean it all up. it looks a lot better. Now i 'm just taking it easy, relaxing in the garden : )
Not seen the Dracula film yet , we watched another i bought, Bruce wilis, a good day to die hard.

Angela you are a breath of air. Paintball a lively game. My son had a team and they did it on Saturdays. He loved it. Several paintball fields around us. Lots of competition and the game is taken seriously. Just being out in the woods would be a lovely day. Me, I would have found a big tree and just hunkered down. No game in me. Nice for the scuba lessons. Beautiful reefs in Belize. Second largest to Australia .
Kim your soup sounds yummy. Good for David on fixing the brakes. Brings back memories of when my boys first started driving and the repairs and responsibilities.
Serenity could be tendonitis. I once had it in the summer. The doctor said coming in from heat to the cooler temps of a/c. I was in my early thirties. Hope it is sorted tomorrow.
Empathy I am picturing you toting a bucket of paint and a brush. I know your home and garden is beautiful.

This week will be a short Nana's daycare week. K&K are going to beach with mom. Youngest son and his family are a week at Disneyworld. We have their dog family here. One schnauzer , one chihuahua , and two
Chi-Schnauzers. That would be half and half. They look like mini schnauzers. So for three days two children and eight dogs. The boarders are being kept in our attached air conditioned bonus room. It will be a rotate situation for yard time. So this is me. Going crazy. What we do for our children.
So proud and happy for you that you went paintballing and taking Scuba lessons. I am so afraid of Scuba diving.....but then of course I am afraid of almost everything. So sorry for the welts but I bet it was worth it.
That is very impressive that you work for a company that makes underwater computer's for Scuba Diver's. Can you have a Computer underwater? Obviously, I guess you can. What does the computer do/follow?

Dix, I love a Potato Soup! Speaking of Watermelon that my whole family loves...especially my Mil. This bothers me to this day. We were at the Lake House with a beautiful and tasty Watermelon. And I complained that we should not just be eating the Watermelon from the heart and the middle of it.
We were packing to go home and then realise that the heart of the Melon was untouched.....and had to be thrown away. So we threw away the best part. I will never complain about that again. Because now we chop it all up into one bowl.
Seren, so hope that you are feeling better. Accept that mission and go in little phases.
