Dh is home. He starts chemo pills today and then does an IV chemo treatment tues. Double whammy this week.
We watched the movie Captain Phillips last night. It was good. It was the true story of the pirates of samalya (sp) in 2009 I believe that took the U.S. Ship.
I like to share when I see a good movie because I think there are so few good movie out there!

Kim we just finished watching White House Down which was a little intense for me. I would like to watch Captain Phillips. I think Tom Hanks is a good actor. Wishes up for T. On his next round of chemo.
I made some rice pudding last night. Had been craving it and just did it. No recipe. I just use my spices to taste along with jasmine rice and coconut milk and some whipping cream. It is Indian style. I love Indian food and I just try to copy from the taste of that rice pudding. What I am missing is cardamom in the spice category I believe. Does anyone else make up their own recipe?

i just got home after a very lovely weekend with my mother and an evening with my father coming over. she and i spent some nice, relaxing time together doing a multitude of things, then laid around on our heating pads! i treasure these times.
i see that i missed a lot this weekend.

My Brother has been in town since last Monday. He lives near San Francisco so I only see him a couple times a year!
