Teaching a sewing class for the first time in over two years I am just a bit apprehensive. Think some nice thoughts for me as I do this today. I love to teach but I sure don't want to blow it. I love making this item and want my students to love it too!

I thought I would crochet and be able to listen to audiobooks. Only thing is when I'm concentrating to count when I'm crocheting, I can't multitask and listen to an audiobook~ I just work quietly. The way my brain works now I'm not good at multitasking though I can listen to an audiobook while I'm chopping veggies for my dinner.

Funny because when I was a teenager I always had a needlework project going that I'd work on while I was watching TV. I didn't like watching TV and doing nothing. I would crochet, do embroidery or even do macrame ~ remember that?

I don't know if anyone does macrame anymore. I actually made some macrame jewelry using cotton crochet thread and beads but it was pretty tedious to do. I'm not tempted to take up macrame again ~ I agree with you that crocheting is very relaxing. Enjoy ~ and I'll be interested to hear what projects you're working on!
