When I Feel Deprived or Sorry For Myself

I'm going to run through these photos again. They depict the devastation of Storm Sandy - I had no idea until I saw these photos - what the people on the east coast had gone through.

God bless them - I just can't imagine......

For every "bad" ... there is a "worse". I try to remember that when I get down.

What the pictures really don't tell is that it was wet... COLD.... no power.... and so widespread that supplies were unavailable for hundreds of miles. For many, this lasted for months... into the winter.... Truly devastating.

It is all so horrible to even imagine .... now the huge fire down in Arizona. The pictures of that are so terrible and it spreads so quickly down there with the dry hot weather, very hard to contain. So sad.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
