Hi guys,
Ok, I just have to get this out. I am so pissed about work right now. No worries as no one reads this and our IT Dept is clueless.
I was late today for work as I had to pick up my new car. It was supposed to be ready last nite but there were some last minute snafus. So I called my backup at 815AM and said I would be late around 9:30. My boss is on vacation until May 4th??
I was in by 9:45. Now mind you people come in late all the time, dr appts. kids sick, kids to school, kids concert, grandpa sick etc and no one gets in trouble. me the brain injury patient comes in every day on time and a Walking Zombie. So I guess a few people didnt know where I was. I called my backup at 8AM! WTF?
So get this. My boss calls in on the client line at 10:00 and says "Oh I heard you were late today"/ I said yes I had to pick up my car today. She proceeds to scold me for 10 minutes with other people able to hear about how I was wrong and why didnt I know and blah blah blah. Appaarently this f**ing place goes to pieces if Im gone for an hour and a half?????? Why, because I do two peoples jobs????
So I told her oh sorry and we finished the call awkwardly. Oh and she said I "made a poor decision". WTF does that mean? I'm fired? Im written up? Nothing??
So you know what. I emailed her a response. I was very clear and professional. And I told her I take 70 calls when I am supposed to take 35. I told her that I have stayed til 5:30 3 times in the last two weeks doing someone elses job! I And I said i expect some leeway for the GOOD things I do.
I reminded her that I have a brain injury amd that I struggle to sometimes brush my teeth in the morning. WTF do they want from me? I dont care what she does. Fire me and i can rest and get my health together. But I am NOT going to do two peoples jobs and then get chastised for being late to buy a car that happens once in 10 years. She has no f**ing managment skills.
So there. I got it out. Way to ruin avery happy day when I got a nice car to get some f**ing enjoyment out of this life. I am mainly ranting for my own sanity but please tell me. Am I wrong?

Thanks to all for the support. I helps so much. It is difficult to fight this battle alone. I have no advocates. Moon asked me to speak to HR. We have no HR. HR is my uncaring manager! Conflict of interest much?.
So we will have our meeting next week when she gets back from Disneyland. And her Mickey Mouse management style. Oops did I say that out loud?
Lisa- Thanks for your reply. It is brilliant. I will use some of it for sure. Points 4 and 5 are awesome. I do forget things sometime. I do worry she will retaliate so I will tread lightly and see how it goes.
I have been killing her with kindness for 5 years. not doing it anymore. Doesnt work with her. I also looked back at my time records and see that I stayed late ELEVEN TIMES since January, For free. I got her back. kAnd she tabs me in mine. Aint happenin anymore.
I'll let you guys know how it goes next week. Thinking I should provide her a list of the 11 days I stayed late as APPARENTLY she didnt notice. I am supposed to becomped for those days and she yells at me for being late 1 day. Raaaaaaaaaaaaar. hear me roar!!

The irony of life never ceases to amaze me. I have yet to have meeting w boss and not particularly looking forward to it. I went over her head and who knows what will happen. She forced me to as Seren said.
Want a good laugh. My boss has been out most of this week. She came in late today at 10pm. Apparently she has hurt her back. Ready for this:. She told everybody that the pain is worse in the morning and she just cant get out of bed! ???? woooooooooaaaaaaaaaa. Really? lmao. I have only been telling her this about ME for 4 years now in meetings with her. You know what her response to ME was? Nothing. Blank stare. Silence. No I'm sorry or that sucks or I understand. Just silence like oh well dude. And bitched at me if I was late!!!!
Can you believe this???. I have my strong faith and I seem to think the good Lord is telling her something. Is that shit rich or what?
