61F Brrrr! In my area the weather becomes unpredictable due to it's mercurial nature, a hot day followed by a rain day, followed by a cold day and this is what we'll have for the next month. Sandra, how is your sister doing with her recovery? My friend Peggy fell in excercise class and fractured her elbow and leg, surgery. She's 84 and going home on Monday. As we get older recovery is slow like...

I'm trying to figure out if I have the most! LoL :-0)i think I am now at ten plus another wedge to make it so they do not fall between headboard/mattress that runs full width of king bed.Did I win? I'm also sharing pillows with two doggies. Happy really likes getting up onto them and Belle is sometimes up there too.

We went to pick up the car and they only had automatics even though Doug always selects manual when booking it. So they had to call another branch and we got taken there by one of the staff and picked up a car from there.
Bit of a pain but we still went to our shops and stores and garden centres we had planned for today.
I got my white paint to mix with the other one. Also got a butterfly bush in the sale and another couple going cheap.
Carly does Mike mind that you want to be in charge of his pills or does he want to do it all himself? I had to remind Doug to take his 1 pill in the evening because he's never been on pills before but he's remembering now. How is the tropical storm? Has it passed? Yeah you are so right about meatloaf recipe's.
Joanne, I remembered this morning I didn't answer the question about electric buses.. Yes we see more and more electric buses these days, probably because I live in greater London, the more you go out across the country possibly less so.
How was the state fair? I'm thinking here the only fairs that would have live stock would be villages in the country side.
Leo I read your journal and the chaos of his family. I don't think it was your fault at all. They all had their own brains to make up their minds.
Yes, that is really cold and also it is raining. Yesterday it was overcast and light jacket weather, perfect for the fair. Our friends needle point deco chair was in with the quilts, she got an award. The art section was amazing. We loved the Percheron draft horses, huge beautiful and shiny black. Cows, Frizzle chickens, piglets and many more exhibits. We had a great time.
Sandra, that is a really cool looking plant, it will be interesting to see it in full bloom. I'm so done with the outside plants and land garden, every year I get to this point in September. When do you start winterizing? BTW, why does Doug prefer manual over automatic? We've always had manual until now.
Carly, One day Mike will be ok with his meds. How is the tropical storm, still headed your way? I do so hope it avoids you completely and does very little damage. Mario has several pills and I decided he would be in charge from the beginning, I told him it's all on him and it's worked out.
Leo, someday I do hope it will be peace for you.
Gotta run to Pantry.
PEACE
84F. Did have a bit of rain but nothing like we thought we would have. I didn't take out the trash because of the expected wind. It never happen. I had to double up today. I brought it out early before they came.
Sandra, what a beautiful flower.
Is there any reason why Doug likes a manual over an automatic? The automatic seems so much easier. I have heard that a manual is a bit cheaper on petro.
Mike seems like he is not having a problem anymore with me being in charge of his pills. He seems to be liking it. He has printing out a list of all pills and when they should be taken. I am still a little leary of it all but I will let him go with it. Shhhh...I still go behind and check. No problems yet. I will say that it has really taken a lot of pressure off me. If he wants to take them later it is his choice if he sleeps later which is great.
Joanne, that is really cold! It sounds like you had a great time at the fair.
I guess it may be true. If we don't spoil and cater so much after our hubby's they can figure out stuff on their own. I am going to try. But I should have done it soo many years ago. It is hard to start now at 56years. But I think I might like it.
Leo, Hope all is well. Let us know what's up. Also hoping that thing's with mom is settled soon.
Much love and hugs to all.
