In my area the weather becomes unpredictable due to it's mercurial nature, a hot day followed by a rain day, followed by a cold day and this is what we'll have for the next month.
Sandra, how is your sister doing with her recovery? My friend Peggy fell in excercise class and fractured her elbow and leg, surgery. She's 84 and going home on Monday. As we get older recovery is slow like for your sister, I hope she will soon feel like herself without pain. Do you get testing for osteoporosis?
Carly, How is the storm, has it fizzled out completely? I don't miss those from living down south and my worries go out to you. What is happening with the ranch and selling?
Leo, life has been such a nightmare and how does your future look for the next few months?
My sister wrote the Senator ( it's like contacting a member of Parliment) and told him she's my sister for some background on how he is helping with Mom's social security. It looks like we now know what's going on but to get the tangled mess untangled will take many twists and turns.
Cleaning today and maybe finally paint some trim.

I'm trying to figure out if I have the most! LoL :-0)i think I am now at ten plus another wedge to make it so they do not fall between headboard/mattress that runs full width of king bed.Did I win? I'm also sharing pillows with two doggies. Happy really likes getting up onto them and Belle is sometimes up there too.

What do mean when do I start winterizing?
Our temperature has been around 65 to 70.
My sis is doing well thank you. I don't think she'll be the same before her fall if honest because of her age and fibromyalgia and her other problems. My sis has very weak bones and no we don't get tested, things like that normally get found out after problems.
I can't believe you've had to get a senator on board, what a screwed up system.
To answer yesterday's question as to why Doug doesn't like automatic, He tried it twice and both times his feet forgot it was an automatic. He's just so used to manual.
I more plants today going really cheap! I've planted them already.
It really has been the best time to go round garden centres because it's end of summer and plants going cheap.

Life's... what it is. We'll know what it is when it hits. Heat warnings today so we're finding ways to stay busy indoors despite the fact my garden looks like it's been deserted for 20 years.... I'd love 61*F!

Shopping tomorrow. I hope the rain stops and it will cool down.
The ranch and selling is still unknown. I am always torn between "is this the right thing to sell" or should we keep it? I would love the money for sure but it has been Mike's life work for over 30 year's.
I so hope you can clear out that mess with SS.
Sandra, It sounds like your sister might have osteoporosis. I also have it and it makes your bones brittle. You can get a simple fall and break a bone. Been there done that! She needs to get tested no matter how long your health care takes.
So impressed that Doug loves his manual. I tried my best to convince Shea to not get a manual on her new Camero car. She didn't listen and wrecked it because she to busy not paying attention while eating and driving. You just cannot do that with a manual. Oh, did I mention it happened twice!?

Leo, I am doing well, thank you for asking.
And wow what a mess....and I don't mean the weather. How are things with you? What is the latest? Life? Do we really know what it is when it hits? I don't think so. It takes awhile sometimes.
