Hump day lazy day here
2 pm and 72 f lovely.
We still need that good downpour of rain.
Doug is on his way home on the bus.
I made a dessert, pears and an almond flavoured sponge tart.
Joanne how is your mum doing? Is she completely bed ridden now? Such a horrible stage I don't look forward to that for others or myself.
Carly thank goodness Mike sorted out the small fonts. It's all you can do just see what happens each day and take it from there. Hopefully things will settle down soon and you'll get into a routine of pill taking like I'm in.
Leo, when is the funeral for your father in law? I know you have yours way quicker than we have ours here. Ours are average of 3 weeks later.

85FToday I need to go and get Mom and Dad's birth certificates, marriage license and Dad's death certificate. Mom is in no shape to find that infor for the social security office to correct the mistatke they made in Mom's income. Just one more thing I need to do. Mom was in bed asleep and I didn't wake her. It's obvious the end is really near. What I am upset about is if Mom had been willing to...

Had Pantry and talked with the sheriff about should I file Mom having her wallet and purse of over $200 and he said yes.
I got a ticket in a town I've been in once. It was by camera, I was clocked at 46 mph thinking that was the speed limit but it was 35 mph. $160.00 unless I take a class online, so I will.
Sandra, Mom sleeps more and eats less but she still gets around. In fact she went into someone's room and wouldn't leave. This is either her brain cognition or her pain meds. It doesn't matter.
In my area we don't have funerals, people either have a COL which is a party celebrating their life or nothing. Most people are being cremated without a burial. It save about 10K. At the moorage we have had celebrations of life and ashes into the river.
Carly, it will take about six months to reach a conclusion on Mike's health and what can be accomplished to help him on the way to wellness.
Leo, in your FIL's family do they do funerals or celebration of life? And, when will this happen and where?
Mario's computer won't connect but mine will and Alexa is on with music so there is something wrong and he has important documents to fill out, I know computers but this has be baffled, I'll admit.
PEACE
They are really nice and some with still tags on. But I would much more prefer going to a woman's shelter or charity. A lot have gone there already. We are also going to go to assisted living residences.
Today was Mike's birthday. He had a nice lunch with his guy group. He came home and went to an eye doc appointment, went to the gym for a work out.
Best part was that Shea came for a visit. She was on her way to the beach in Galveston to celebrate her B-day. She gave him a gift certificate for an hour long spa day/massage. He was thrilled.
I thought it was going to be awkward because the last time I saw Shea we had a huge blow up. But it was a very nice visit with a hug and I love you.
But for me there is still something brewing. Not getting over it anytime soon.
Sandra, I hope you get the down pour you need. Your dessert sounds yummy.
Joanne, so sorry about the ticket! I so hope your mom continues to get around for quite a bit longer.
I have never really heard about funeral's taking that long. They happen to fast for me. I would be ok with a month. I guess sometimes it's better to just get it done and get on with life. There always seems to be such a rush.
I hope you get the computer thing figured out. Computer's always have me baffled.....obviously.
I will take a breath now and pray for this post to go.
Much love and hugs to all my dear friends.
