I am just curious. This time of year means weather changes for everyone but what are the normal conditions in your area at this time. Our weather here never gets that hot in the summer... we hit about 100 F a few times this year but that is unusual. 80's is normal and we find 90's unbearable. I know that is a joke to many of you but this IS Canada. Today is a very chilly 46 F (8 C) but 'feels like' 39 F (4 C). The kids are wearing gloves to play outside and coming in with red, rosy, very cold noses. This is typical fall weather here. Yesterday it was about 60 F and that's about the best we'll get now, maybe 65 if we're really lucky.

But it is beautiful with all the fall leaves. Certain areas look like paintings or those beautiful puzzles that are so hard to put together because it all looks the same lol.

Tell me about the weather where you are and how it is changing.

We are warmer than usual in the daytime, and normal October cold at night. Im in northwest Illinois.

Yesterday was mid 70s.

Pacific Northwest and the wettest Spring on record, hottest summer, postponed fall temperatures and now we have the most gorgeous leaf turning about 3 weeks late. It has been in the 50's and then a pop up of 70 degrees Farenheit.

West Texas and today it's going to be 87 which is pretty cool for us. Fall will kick in within the next 2 weeks and we will get the relief we so look forward to.

And I promise I won't bitch about how cold winter is. I can't wait until the cold drives these damned mosquitoes into the ground!

Yesterday there frost on the vehicles and chilly most of the day. Today in the high 70's. The winters up here have been getting milder too and less snow. Normally it was pretty common to have at least 4' depth of snow in the yard by the middle of winter, not so much now. We still get those wicked snow squalls. Some of those storms have been so bad that farmers have froze to death since they got disorientated and couldn't find there way back to the house. they are often found within 20' of there home. I've seen it snow so bad that you could not see your hand if you held it about a foot from your face. One time we had so much snow overnight that when I let the dogs out all you saw was a rolling hump in the snow from where they were moving around underneath, it looked soo cool. I use to go fasting each season and the winter time was the toughest. 4 days and nights in the bush alone without food or water, just the winter clothes a sleeping bag and a lodge. You truly learn how to prey then. On one of the neighbouring reserves the eagle staff carriers fast for 10 days, naked and they are only allowed a blanket, that's the traditional method. Boy am I chatty lol

Lisa I give weather updates on check ins all the time! I love hearing about others weather.

i'm in s. Illinois and it's 69 today and rainy. 4 days ago it was 87. the weather fluctuates like crazy this time of yr for us. the nights have been hitting lows in the 40's-50's. Summers we can hit upper 90's and low 100's, but normal are upper 80's.

Buffalo yucky winters! you forgot to count in your hide to keep u warm in those teepees. maybe ur chatty to keep warm!

i like to hear about the weather all over. SE TN. temps slightly above normal - low 80's and into the 50's (F) at night. it's really nice early morning and late evening. we still aren't getting fall colors yet. i love to see those. being right on the TN river, there used to be a river tour through the mountains to see them. i'd love to do that again. i really enjoy the fall and am ready for it to kick in with the nice crispness in the air.
